Position Overview: Are you someone who is looking for extra cash this winter and thrives in the great outdoors, no matter the weather conditions? Do you have a passion for keeping our community safe and accessible during the winter months? If so, Barnes, Inc. is looking for individuals like you to join our team as Snow Shovelers or Snow Plowers.
Key Responsibilities: Operate snow plows, snow blowers, and other equipment to clear snow and ice from sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and other areas. Shovel and salt walkways and entrances to ensure safe passage for pedestrians and vehicles. Work in various weather conditions, including cold temperatures and adverse weather. Collaborate with team members to efficiently clear snow and maintain a safe environment. Perform routine equipment maintenance and report any issues promptly.
Qualifications: A strong work ethic and the ability to work outdoors in any weather conditions. Prior experience with snow removal equipment is a plus, but not required - we provide training. Reliable and punctual with a commitment to safety. Strong teamwork and communication skills. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record is preferred.
