We are seeking an Audio Integration Active Sound Engineer (AIAS)to support the development, integration, validation, and production of audio and active sound systems across multiple vehicle programs. The engineer will work closely with internal engineering teams, Vehicle Function teams, and suppliers to plan, design, develop, validate, and troubleshoot audio and active sound systems throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
Ownaudio and active sound system development, validation, and integrationat the vehicle, system, and component levels. Work with internal engineering teams and suppliers toplan, design, develop, and validateaudio and active sound systems. Troubleshoot and resolveaudio system integration issuesthroughout the development lifecycle. Ensure audio and active sound systems are ready forproduction launch. Support ongoingserial-life and quality activities. Collaborate with Vehicle Function (VF)and Core Functional Technical Specification (CFTS)writers to align internal specifications with each vehicle program's feature list. Create and maintain system-levelAIAS requirements and specification documentation, including EQs, CPDs, SGIDs, and related requirements. Analyze vehicle programseries cards and product gridsto determine impacts on audio and active sound systems. Identify opportunities foroptimization and complexity reduction. Support early program definition by providing input onsystem cost and development timing. Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure proper integration of audio and active sound functionality within the vehicle. Support technical reviews, validation activities, issue resolution, program milestones, and production readiness.
Required Qualifications:
Experience in theautomotive industry. Strong knowledge ofautomotive audio systems and audio modules. Experience withaudio system development, integration, testing, and validation. Experience troubleshootingsystem-level and component-level integration issues. Understanding ofsystem requirements and technical specifications. Experience working withcross-functional engineering teams and suppliers. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to workonsite in Auburn Hills, MI.
