Job Description
Job Duties:
Measure, mark, and scribe temps and reference points on materials or work pieces as well as select, align, and secure fixtures and stamp position numbers. Calculate and set controls to regulate temps and pressures: speed, gas pressure, and part clearance, and enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit machine control programs. Manufacture parts and components within the specified tolerances, with limited scrap and in time with the production schedule Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions and adjust machine controls as required Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and quality standards Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures Perform helper duties such as stenciling, cleaning, and assisting the operators in the building to ensure production runs smoothly. Perform maintenance on all equipment to keep the operation running smoothly Train new employees and cross-train in other areas.
Education & Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED preferred Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Basic computer skills High attention to detail Ability to communicate and work safely in a team-oriented environment Desired Characteristics: High attention to detail Ability to multi-task and respond quickly when needed Ability to communicate and work safely in a team-oriented environment Must have a great attitude and attendance record Individuals must have a strong desire to learn and grow within the company To learn more about our benefits please visit our benefits webpage at https://usbenefits.nov.com/
