About the role

The Clark County Food Bank relies on the support of our volunteer receptionists to keep things running! From answering the phone, to greeting visitors with a smile, to filing, and data entry... our receptionists do it all with a helpful smile and a generous heart. If you enjoy connecting with and helping people we need you! Volunteers must commit to either one 3.5 hour shift per week or serve as an on-call floater, when needed. Open shifts are available weekday mornings from 9am-12:30pm and afternoons from 12:30pm-4pm. Interested? Please call or email for more details! We would love to talk more about this opportunity to serve the Clark County community using the skills you have!

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
