About the role
Role: Associate Scientist in Analytical Development supporting BioNTech's antibody and ADC pipeline, focusing on developing phase-appropriate analytical methods.
Responsibilitiesdesign, develop, and execute chromatography (HPLC/UHPLC), electrophoretic, and other analytical techniques;
troubleshoot and interpret complex data;
support technology transfer and method validation;
prepare technical documentation and deliver scientific presentations;
collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely data delivery supporting CMC milestones.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years or Master’s with 5+ years in biopharmaceutical analytical development;
strong hands-on expertise in HPLC/UHPLC, biologics characterization techniques (SEC, RP, icIEF, CE-SDS, ELISA, LC-MS);
familiarity with method qualification/validation, lifecycle management, and statistical tools;
effective team collaboration and communication skills.
Preferredadvanced expertise across analytical platforms;
experience in biologics characterization;
knowledge of regulatory standards.
High-Valuebiologics, antibody and ADC modalities, analytical development within biopharma R&D, CMC milestones, cross-functional collaboration.
