Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency. Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services. Enforce all aquatic facility policies, rules, and regulations. Inspect the facility on a daily schedule and report any unsafe conditions or equipment to the supervisor. Test chemical levels and report results to supervisor. Present professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service. Perform various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility. Prepare and maintains appropriate activity reports. Complete additional duties as assigned. Must be able to work weekends and holidays - Daily work hours are subject to change throughout the Escape Pool season.
Position Requirements: Must have current certification from the American Red Cross in Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED or Shallow Water Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED. If in need of a certification or re-certification, must be willing to train. Prior experience preferred.
