About the role

Adult Medicine Physicians will provide high-quality medical care to a wide variety of patients in a comprehensive, quality oriented, and supportive manner. Your role will encompass a broad range of primary care services, focusing on preventive care, health maintenance, the management of acute and chronic medical conditions and follow up services to patients under your care.
Essential Functions: Provides direct patient care by obtaining medical history, performing appropriate physical examination, and creating an assessment and plan that may include ordering and interpreting labs, ordering imaging studies and developing treatment plan including referring to specialty care when needed. Administers or prescribes treatments and medications. Follows up and monitors patient’s progress throughout treatment plan. Documents the evaluation and plan of care. Provides patient education on a variety of health topics. Collaborates and consults with other in house allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Maintains regular and predictable attendance. Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine. MD/DO board certified or board eligible in either Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Current Arizona License. DEA Certificate. Valid CPR Certificate.
Preferred Qualifications: One year of previous experience.
