About the role
- Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished products
- Interpret drawings, specs, and quality standards
- Select and perform appropriate inspection methods and setups
- Apply GD&T (ANSI Y14.5) for dimensional verification
- Conduct First Piece and AS9102 First Article Inspections
- Partner with Engineering on new product inspections
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement
- Use precision tools (micrometers, comparators, gauges, etc.)Operate and analyze results from CMM equipment
- Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Knowledge of GD&T and precision measurement toolsCMM experience preferred
- Familiarity with AS9102 a plus
- Strong attention to detail
