The Opportunity: EY's SAP Core Supply Chain practice helps organizations modernize enterprise asset management and maintenance operations through SAP S/4HANA. As a Senior Manager, you will lead large-scale transformation programs, advise executive stakeholders, and help clients improve asset reliability, workforce productivity, maintenance planning, and operational performance. Working across complex, asset-intensive environments, you will evaluate business processes, operating models, and technology landscapes to develop strategies and solutions that deliver measurable business value. In this role, you will collaborate with business and technical leaders to shape solution roadmaps, guide SAP-enabled transformations, and oversee the successful delivery of integrated asset management capabilities. Your Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will manage and deliver complex processes and solutions while maintaining a strong focus on quality and risk management. You will face challenges that require innovative problem-solving and analytical skills, allowing you to grow your expertise in technology analysis and implementation. Your responsibilities will include: Leading SAP S/4HANA Asset Management and Plant Maintenance transformation programs from strategy through deployment. Serving as a trusted advisor to client executives, providing thought leadership on maintenance, reliability, service execution, and asset management operating models. Managing engagement delivery, financial performance, resource planning, quality, and risk management across complex programs. Leading multidisciplinary teams across SAP Asset Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Digital Operations. Driving solution design decisions that balance business requirements, leading practices, and technology capabilities. Building and maintaining senior client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand EY services. Mentoring and developing consultants and managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture. Staying current on emerging SAP Asset Management capabilities, including S/4HANA innovation and intelligent asset management solutions. Skills And Attributes For Success Successful candidates bring a blend of SAP Asset Management expertise, business transformation experience, and executive-level consulting skills. They are comfortable leading client discussions, navigating complex stakeholder environments, and translating business objectives into scalable SAP solutions. To qualify for the role, you must have: A bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree is preferred. Typically, 12–15 years of relevant experience. 10+ years of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM/EAM) and Asset Management experience, including significant experience leading SAP transformation programs and S/4HANA initiatives. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills. Proven experience managing SAP projects or work streams, including oversight of project‑based team members. S/4HANA Asset Management implementation experience. Experience leading global or multi‑site deployments. Executive stakeholder management. Business development and pursuit support. Experience in conducting technology cost‑benefit analyses. Familiarity with technology business architecture frameworks. Skills in training design and delivery. A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40%–60%. Ideally, you’ll also have: Experience with complementary SAP Asset Management solutions such as SAP Asset Performance Management (APM), SAP Field Service Management (FSM), SAP Service and Asset Manager (SAM), SAP Business Network Asset Collaboration (BNAC), Resource Scheduling for Maintenance Planners (RSH), Spatial Asset Management, Work Clearance Management, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and related planning, scheduling, or master data governance solutions. Experience in leading teams and managing change effectively. Experience serving clients in the Power & Utilities industry. Prior consulting industry experience. SAP S/4HANA Asset Management (Plant Maintenance/EAM) certification, with additional certifications in SAP Activate, Business Process Integration, or other SAP Supply Chain and Asset Management solutions preferred. Experience with at least two full lifecycle implementations of SAP ERP (ECC and/or S/4HANA). Experience writing and delivering training materials for end users. The salary range for this job is: New York City, Boston, and Washington DC Metro Areas, Washington State, and Southern California offices – $205,900 to $427,800 Bay Area California offices – $214,600 to $445,700 All other offices locations in the US, including Sacramento – $171,600 to $392,100 Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
