About the role

The University of North Carolina System is seeking a Temporary Horticulture Assistant for the Formal Gardens at the NC Arboretum in Asheville. The role focuses on hands-on garden care, planting, watering, mulching, pruning, and seasonal maintenance under supervision. You will learn from an experienced horticulture team, work outdoors, and support daily operations in a high-visibility landscape. This position is part-time with a pay rate of $18 per hour.
