About the Role: Trash Gremlin Disposal is looking for a hardworking and reliable Residential Trash Pickup Technician to join our team in San Antonio, TX and lakehills tx! This is a great opportunity to work outdoors, stay active, and make a real difference in keeping our communities clean. Responsibilities: Collect and remove residential trash, recycling, and waste from curbside and designated pickup locations Operate and ride along on waste collection vehicles along assigned routes Safely lift, carry, and empty trash bins and containers into collection trucks Maintain cleanliness and order along pickup routes, ensuring no debris is left behind Follow all safety protocols and DOT regulations during waste collection operations Communicate effectively with drivers and team members to complete routes efficiently Report any service issues, missed pickups, or equipment concerns to supervisors
Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting up to 50+ lbs repeatedly Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent schedule including early morning starts Strong work ethic with a team-first attitude Valid driver's license preferred; CDL a plus Prior waste management, labor, or sanitation experience is a bonus but not required Must pass a background check and pre-employment screening
