Job Description:
Warehouse Associate/Driver – Rochester, NYKJ ElectricKJ Electric is seeking a motivated, dependable Warehouse Associate/Driver for our Rochester branch. This is a hands-on position responsible for warehouse operations, inventory control, building maintenance, and customer deliveries. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, customer-focused, and willing to jump in wherever needed to support the branch.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage all daily warehouse operations.
Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse.
Perform accurate inventory management and cycle counts.
Load and unload incoming shipments using forklifts and pallet jacks.
Inspect incoming products for damage and verify shipment accuracy.
Prepare customer orders for shipment or pickup.
Make deliveries and pick up materials from customers, vendors, and other KJ Electric locations.
Safely operate company delivery vehicles, including stake rack trucks.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Process shipments using UPS and FedEx shipping software.
Maintain the warehouse facility and assist with general building maintenance.
Follow company policies and procedures to ensure product quality and workplace safety.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and customer pickups.
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse experience required.
Prior warehouse experience preferred.
Forklift experience required (certification preferred or ability to become certified).Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping software.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Experience driving a stake rack truck or similar commercial vehicle.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
