About the role
Senior Account ManagerIndex Exchange is seeking a Senior Account Manager to join our US team, based in New York. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of independent agency partners, helping to drive long-term growth, platform adoption, and strong strategic relationships across the programmatic advertising ecosystem.You will work closely with independent agencies and their trading teams, as well as DSPs and other demand-side partners, while collaborating cross-functionally with sales, analytics, technical operations, and account management teams to deliver exceptional service and strategic support.What We're Looking ForStrategic: Index values partnerships and provides strategic insights to partners leveraging our exchange. In this role, you will be responsible not only for day-to-day account management and operations, but also for providing insights and recommendations around the broader programmatic ecosystem and buyer landscape.Collaborative: In order to retain and grow partner relationships, you will work cross-functionally with sales, analytics, technical, and publisher account teams to become a subject matter expert on the Index platform and support partner growth.Communicative: You will be working with a number of external partners at any given time and are expected to communicate effectively both internally and externally. This is a highly visible, client-facing role where building trusted relationships is essential to success.Here's What You'll Be DoingServe as the day-to-day contact for a portfolio of strategic buyer-side partners while delivering exceptional service and leveraging expertise of the Index proactive insights and recommendations to partners to help solve problems through a data-centric approach.Partner with internal teams to support growth opportunities and identify ways to strengthen existing with internal stakeholders to identify and support new deal opportunities, while ensuring the health and growth of existing partnerships.Develop a strong understanding of buyer priorities, campaign performance, and the broader programmatic landscape to provide strategic recommendations and support partner growth.Attend relevant industry events and support relationship-building initiatives that foster long-term strategic growth.Here's What You Need6–8 years of experience in digital media, including 5+ years in a client-facing role.Strong understanding of the programmatic advertising landscape (e.g. ad server, ad network, exchange, SSP, DSP, agency trading desk, PMP, etc.).Experience supporting buyer-side relationships within the digital advertising or programmatic ecosystem is preferred.Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proven ability to leverage data and analytics to solve customer problems.Demonstrable experience building strong customer relationships, understanding partner needs, and identifying solutions to support growth.Strong communication skills with the ability to present clearly and concisely both internally and externally.Ability to work collaboratively and independently while remaining proactive, organized, and in Excel and other Microsoft Office programs is required. Experience with DOMO, Looker, Tableau, or similar analytical tools is considered an asset.Salary:The base salary range for this role is $111,000 to $140,000 USD.
