Our 250+ local customer service centers (CSCs) are supported by regional operations teams located throughout North America. Territory: Supports the Northwest Region, including Northern California, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events Build and maintain performance-based relationships with various organizations including, but not limited to: schools, sports teams, event venues & production companies, tour operators, and corporate clients Conduct on-site sales visits and presentations to promote charter services Prepare and deliver customized quotes and proposals based on client needs Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize profitability while meeting customer expectations For large engagements, host a detailed handoff meeting with Operations to communicate all pertinent information to ensure client expectations are met Track sales activities, leads, and performance metrics using CRM software; if it’s not in our CRM, it didn’t happen Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and regional transportation regulations Partner with Operations with his / her assigned territory to grow charter business
Requirements: Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in transportation, hospitality or logistics Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required 3 years in sales experience required Experience in cold calling, deal pipeline management, negotiation and closing Adaptable work style with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders Strong organizational skills and must be able to maintain detailed records of charter sales activity Ability to influence without authority Strong working knowledge of MS Office, CRM Platforms Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset Well-developed time management skills Knowledge of charter transportation logistics is a plus, but not required Performance Goals Achieve Sales Goals Expand revenue across assigned territory, while maintaining margin Achieve client retention goals
