About the role

Director Of Program Management We are a rapidly growing, Boston-based medical technology company using AI to enable clinicians to make informed decisions on cardiovascular care - leading to better patient outcomes, improved quality of care, and reduced healthcare costs. Come work at Elucid and be part of delivering on our mission to prevent heart attacks and strokes! Bringing a medical device to market takes a hundred decisions made by a dozen teams. It takes someone who can help navigate the tradeoffs and keep every team moving from idea to delivery. As our Director of Program Management, you'll build the governance, portfolio planning and launch readiness practices that let our organization scale, while staying hands-on leading key cross-functional initiatives. Working across R&D, product, clinical, regulatory, quality, and commercial teams, you'll align leaders around the decisions that matter and add structure without slowing our dynamic, growing teams down. Your SaMD experience and your ability to bring people with you through change will help our AI-enabled cardiovascular imaging products reach the clinicians and patients who need them most.
The ideal candidate will have: 8+ years of program management experience owning complex, cross-functional programs from idea to delivery, and 3+ years of experience managing a team. Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, life sciences, or a related field. Experience in the medical device industry, with working knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards and experience applying these to agile software development and risk management in a SaMD (software-as-a-medical-device) environment. Startup or high-growth experience building and scaling program management practices, with comfort doing both hands-on program work and strategic PMO leadership. Experience building executive governance forums, such as quarterly portfolio reviews, with data-driven analysis of capacity, dependencies, and tradeoffs to inform prioritization decisions. Experience managing, coaching, and hiring program or project managers. A highly collaborative and persuasive style, with a track record of leading change management, introducing and reinforcing new processes, and driving alignment across an organization. Cardiovascular or imaging program experience, familiarity with tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Roadmunk, and Salesforce, and PMP/PgMP/Agile certification preferred.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
