This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming, professional experience for our clients while providing administrative and tax-processing support to our team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable balancing multiple priorities, and enjoys being the person others can count on to keep things moving. This role combines traditional front-desk responsibilities with tax return assembly and document processing, particularly during busy tax seasons. What You'll Do Serve as a first point of contact for BGM by greeting clients and visitors, answering incoming calls, and directing questions to the appropriate team member Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and coordinate outgoing mail, FedEx, courier, and other deliveries Assemble and prepare accurate, professional tax returns and related documents for client delivery Scan, organize, and process tax documents and other client information Help troubleshoot and resolve tax assembly questions in collaboration with team members Maintain an organized and professional reception area and shared office spaces Monitor and restock office, caf, and general supplies Assist with administrative projects and maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems Utilize Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and other Firm technology and software Provide additional administrative support to the team as needs arise What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required 13 years of reception, front desk, administrative, or similar professional experience Previous experience in tax, accounting, financial services, or another professional services environment is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-service mindset Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to follow established processes while knowing when to ask questions or seek clarification Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to shift priorities as needed Proactive, adaptable, and willing to jump in where needed Comfortable using technology and learning new systems and processes What You'll Love About Us Make an Impact.
