About the Role: Nora Gardner LLC and its uniform division, Living Uniforms, are seeking a Business Development & Office Manager to lead uniform sales development while keeping the office running smoothly. This is a hybrid, client-facing role based in New York City, ideal for someone who is self-motivated, personable, and eager to grow a sales pipeline from the ground up. The right candidate brings a proven track record of strong interpersonal skills and sales execution, and is comfortable balancing new business development with day-to-day office and account management. Immediate start.
Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Sales Lead uniform sales development for Living Uniforms, identifying and pursuing new client relationships across hospitality, restaurant, aviation, and wholesale sectors Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing Build and maintain a strong, active pipeline; consistently meet or exceed sales targets Travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and present in person as needed Create simple, polished pitch decks and product catalogues tailored to individual clients Serve as the primary client-facing point of contact, nurturing long-term relationships and repeat business Office Management Oversee day-to-day office operations, keeping workflows organized and efficient Support order processing, inventory tracking, and basic account/financial recordkeeping Coordinate between sales, production, and clients to ensure smooth order fulfillment Handle administrative tasks that keep the business running independently and reliably Qualifications 5-10 years of relevant work experience in hospitality, restaurants, aviation, or wholesale sales Proven track record of strong interpersonal skills and sales execution Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident and polished in front of clients Strong mathematical skills, comfortable with pricing, margins, and order calculations Interest and ability in creating simple pitch decks and catalogues for clients Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Eager, proactive, and comfortable operating in a small, fast-moving team Based in or able to work from New York City on a hybrid schedule Willing and able to travel for client meetings and industry events Available for immediate start
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $65,000-$80,000, based on qualifications, plus uncapped commission on sales Total compensation structured as part salary, part commission, rewarding strong sales performance Benefits included Hybrid work schedule Immediate start
