Senior Project Manager
Type: 6 Month Contract to hire
Contact: Ashley at ajones@forbestc.comSpecial notes: This role is onsite 4 days a week near Buffalo Grove, IL. They will be moving to Downtown Chicago late spring as well. Must be able to be hired without sponsorship or transfer of visa now or in the future.
Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will provide business and technical leadership for multiple IT Development projects supporting both Agile and Waterfall projects collaborating with the multiple Development Teams, Quality Assurance, Product Management Teams, Security and Infrastructure Teams.
Required skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of project management experience
  • Ability to lead 3-4 projects at any given time
  • Ability to travel occasionally to domestic client sites
  • Prior projects involving clients that have merged integrating their environments (both Infrastructure side and Application Development side)
  • Prior experience utilizing Smartsheets
  • Prior experience mentoring other PMsCertified Scrum Master Certification (CSM)
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Ability to analyze team progress, present appropriate burndown charts, and provide executive level presentations on that analysis with business impacts and proposed mitigation plans
