About the role
We are seeking an experienced Regulatory & Financial Reporting Specialist to join the Financial & Regulatory Reporting team of a global banking organization on a temporary/contract basis. This position will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation, validation, and filing of key U.S. and Cayman Islands regulatory reports. The ideal candidate will have hands-on regulatory reporting experience within a foreign banking organization (FBO), international bank branch, or similar financial institution, along with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, banking products, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and file regulatory reports for the U.S. Branch, including FR 2420, FR 2900, and FR 2644.Prepare monthly and quarterly International Capital (TIC) reports, including BC, BL, and BQ series.
Prepare monthly Pledged Asset / Asset Maintenance Reports for the Department of Financial Services.
Prepare quarterly Department of Commerce BE Series reports.
Prepare Call Reports, including FFIEC 002, 002S, and 019, and provide variance and analytical insights to Finance Management.
Prepare Cayman Islands Monetary Authority regulatory reports, including QPR and LBS.Prepare regulatory reporting for non-bank financial subsidiaries, including FR Y-7N and BE Series reports.
Maintain regulatory reporting data and support data integrity and completeness within RegReporter.
Partner with Accounting, Operations, and IT to investigate data issues and meet regulatory reporting deadlines.
Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system changes impacting regulatory reporting software and data inputs.
Maintain procedures and regulatory reporting documentation.
Qualifications:
3–5 years of hands-on regulatory reporting experience within an FBO, international bank branch, or similar financial institution.
Strong experience preparing and filing Federal Reserve and other U.S. regulatory reports.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and its application to regulatory and financial reporting.
Knowledge of banking products, including derivatives.
Experience with RegReporter or similar regulatory reporting software preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
