M-F between 5a-4pShift: Days The community you'll be caring for: Advent Health Ocala Horse Capital of the World Home to the World Equestrian Center Affordable cost of living Destination for outdoor enthusiast (golf, kayaking, horseback riding, nature trails)Family friendly with many parks and recreations The role you'll contribute: Professional nurse who provides leadership in the development of staff education at the unit level in compliance with regulatory agencies in conjunction with the hospital mission, management and physician expectation. The educator combines clinical expertise and passion for teaching in both the classroom and practice setting, preparing and mentoring current and future generations of nurses. The Nurse educator plays a pivotal role in strengthening the nursing workforce, serving as a role model and providing the leadership needed to implement evidence-based practice. The value you'll bring to the team: Collaborates with the Education/ Manager/Director to identify educational goals and coordinates training process for staff as assigned Plans, prepares, and maintains materials for use in educational programs for accuracy and relevance to the target audience Adheres to attendance standards when teaching/facilitating a class ensuring set up is completed prior to class start
