About the role

Our client, an apparel & sleepwear manufacturer, is looking for a Technical Designer to join their team in New York!**WFH Flexibility on
Fridays Responsibilities: Conduct direct fittings on models and communicate fit and construction comments to factories. Prioritize and manage fit approvals and sample tracking from first fit through TOP, ensuring deadlines are met. Using sketches and/or samples from Design Team, create initial specs and update technical packs for different product categories. Work with designers and product development on product design to provide technical expertise on specs and construction. Independently track and prioritize sample flow Independently review and approve pre-production samples Spec out fit garments in all categories.
Qualifications: 6-8 years of prior experience in Technical design Degree in pattern making and Technical design is preferred Self-starter with ability to lead and function independently Great attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills Team player with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment, strong communication skills and necessary follow through Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Work, Adobe Illustrator, and Photo Shop If this sounds like a fit, please submit your resume for immediate consideration!
