About the role
Role: Legal Associate supporting Wave Life Sciences' legal and corporate functions, with a focus on SEC reporting, governance, and legal operations.
Responsibilities:
prepare and support SEC filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy, Section 16), manage databases and data rooms, oversee entity compliance, and assist with board activities and shareholder meetings. Also manages legal budgets, invoicing, and equity administration activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree; 5+ years of paralegal or corporate legal experience, preferably in biotech/pharma; familiarity with SEC filings, legal operations platforms, and equity plans; paralegal certification strongly preferred.
Preferred:
experience with virtual data rooms, legal tech, and international subsidiaries.
High-Value:biotech industry experience, corporate governance, SEC regulatory filings, legal operations, and compliance management.
