The VacancyRole Summary: The RBU Sales Specialist for BU is responsible for driving sales growth and supporting business objectives through effective sales execution and proposal development for BU products. This role partners closely with Strategic, Key, and Regional Account Managers to engage customers, communicate value propositions, and support successful negotiations. The position collaborates with internal stakeholders, including Regional Business Unit Leads and Product Experts, to ensure high-quality proposals, competitive offerings, and consistent delivery of customer-focused solutions. Success in this role is measured by order closure, proposal success rate, and increased product penetration across key markets.Main ResponsibilitiesSales Execution & Proposal SupportLead and support the development of proposals and quotations for Business Unit (BU) products, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and company strategy.Contribute to the achievement of regional and business unit sales targets through effective sales execution and follow-upEnsure accuracy and timeliness in proposal preparation, pricing, and commercial termsCustomer EngagementPartner with Strategic, Key, and Regional Account Managers to engage customers and present the BU's value proposition effectivelyParticipate in customer meetings, presentations, and negotiations to support deal closureBuild strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within assigned accountsCollaboration & Cross-Functional AlignmentCollaborate closely with Account Managers, Regional Business Unit Leads, and internal Product Experts to develop and execute sales strategiesCoordinate with marketing, operations, and technical teams to ensure consistent customer messaging and delivery of solutionsShare market and customer insights to inform business planning and product developmentPerformance Tracking & ReportingMonitor and report on key metrics such as order intake, proposal success rate, and product penetrationProvide feedback on market trends, competitive positioning, and sales performanceIdentify areas for process improvement and contribute to best practices across the sales organizationExperience, Skills & Knowledge Required to be Successful in RoleTechnical Skills/Knowledge /QualificationsSoft SkillsBA/BS Graduate, advanced degree preferred5-10 years' experience in sales roleVision setting capabilityDemonstrated experience and knowledge of test instruments/applications used in the electric power industryFamiliarity/interest in social media, and technologies that shape our livesAttention to detail mentality and appreciation of product budgets and deadlines is essentialStrong communication skills, vision setter for cross-functional teamsWell organized, ability to multiplex effectively across a variety of tasks/responsibilitiesStrong organizational/personal interaction skillsExperience with ERP, SAP experience preferred
