About the role
Field Roof Inspector Remote / On-site (Greater Seattle Area) Full-time / Contract Washington (King, Pierce, Snohomish, Thurston)We are looking for a detail-oriented Field Roof Inspector to evaluate roof conditions, identify potential issues, and provide accurate assessments for residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities:
Perform on-site roof inspections (residential & commercial systems) Identify leaks, structural issues, drainage problems, and material deterioration Document findings through photos, videos, and reports Assess roofing systems including TPO, PVC, EPDM, torch-down, and shingles Collaborate with project managers and sales team Provide accurate recommendations Ensure safety protocols Requirements 1–3+ years of experience in roofing inspections or related field Strong understanding of roofing systems Ability to identify common roofing issues Comfortable working at heights Basic reporting skills Valid driver's license (preferred) Good communication skills Bonus skills Drone inspections Moisture detection tools Insurance claims knowledge OSHA certification
