About the role
Job Description:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, service-focused Front Desk Agent to join our guest services team! This role is P/T with weekend availability, and covers a 3 PM to 11 PM shift. In this role, you’ll be the face of the hotel—welcoming guests, managing reservations, answering questions, and resolving concerns to ensure every stay is a great one. Compensation: $19 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Provide every guest with a warm welcome during check-in and a smooth departure experience at check-out, ensuring accurate room assignments and key distribution
- Address and resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care
- Answer incoming calls and assist guests with questions about bookings, rates, amenities, availability, rewards programs, and special requests (in person, online, and by phone)
- Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean and ready for arriving guests
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date guest account information and assist with general bookkeeping tasks
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of hotel or related experience preferred
- Comfortable handling phone calls and high-pressure situations
- Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and time management skills
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation systems
