DescriptionSpecific Responsibilities: Assist with the setup, operation, and changeover of web press equipment to support efficient production. Jog, stack, bundle, and prepare printed products for further processing or distribution. Load materials and maintain adequate supplies of ink, paper, plates, and other production materials throughout press runs. Bend, mount, and remove printing plates as required for production. Assist with routine maintenance, cleaning, and preventative care of web press equipment and associated production areas. Monitor product quality and report production, equipment, or material issues to press operators and management. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pressroom environment. Accurately complete required production logs, records, and documentation. Participate in the Great Game of Business and support company initiatives. Adhere to all company safety standards, including general workplace safety, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance requirements. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in a printing, manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment preferred. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn production equipment operation and maintenance. Ability to read and understand work instructions, production documentation, and safety procedures. Basic math, reading, writing, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment. Demonstrated alignment with company core values and ESOP culture.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive hand movements. Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to work safely around moving mechanical equipment and production machinery. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, ink, and other production materials. Ability to distinguish print quality issues and safely perform physical production tasks throughout the shift.
