About the role
- Perform structural analysis and design under general supervision across a variety of project types
- Apply lateral analysis and design principles including wind and seismic code provisions
- Review and check other engineers' calculations for accuracy and quality
- Take ownership of assigned structural scope — managing schedule, budget, and quality
- Identify scope changes and escalate to the Structural Lead as needed
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to designers and less experienced engineers
- Advance workflows, tools, and systems within the structural discipline; embrace emerging technologies
- What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license — required 4+ years of structural engineering experience
- Experience with US building codes — IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISCExperience with structural analysis software, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
- Experience designing and analyzing steel and concrete structures
- Must reside in the U.S. Northwest (AK, ID, MT, OR, WA, WY) or CanadaMust be authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada — no visa sponsorship available
- MS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Experience in semiconductor, industrial, or general industrial facility design
- Experience leading small engineering teams
- Work arrangement
