Territory Sales Representative (Phoenix, Arizona area)We are seeking a Route Sales Representative to manage sales and service of material handling equipment, parts, and services within an assigned territory in the greater Phoenix, Arizona Region. This role is responsible for building strong customer relationships across industries such as food & beverage distribution, parcel delivery, healthcare, logistics, and industrial sectors.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road, working directly with customers, and managing their territory with a high level of autonomy. Overnight travel is required as part of regular territory coverage.Key ResponsibilitiesTravel throughout an assigned territory on a structured weekly schedule, including overnight travel as neededServe as the primary on-site contact for customers, providing product support, equipment inspection, and service recommendationsPerform basic inspection, troubleshooting, and coordination of maintenance, repair, or replacement solutionsManage and grow an established customer base, while identifying new opportunities within the territoryConduct on-site demonstrations and explain product or service solutions based on customer needsSupport sales efforts through relationship building, quoting, follow-up, and account management (this is not a high-pressure sales role)Maintain accurate documentation of customer visits, needs, opportunities, and territory activityManage assigned company vehicle, tools, inventory, and equipmentParticipate in training related to products, safety, systems, and best practicesSubmit weekly activity reports and expense documentationQualifications & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required (college coursework a plus)3–5+ years of experience in a field-based, customer-facing role (service, account management, route sales, or similar)Comfortable with overnight travel and extended time in the fieldStrong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional, customer-first mindsetMechanical aptitude or experience working with equipment, tools, or technical products is preferredAbility to work independently, manage time effectively, and plan territory travelValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordBasic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems and softwarePhysical & Work EnvironmentRegular driving within territory using a company vehicleAbility to lift and move equipment (up to ~50 lbs routinely)Work performed in customer facilities, warehouses, outdoor areas, and industrial environmentsExposure to varying weather conditions and physical environmentsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salaryCommission or incentive opportunities tied to territory performanceCompany vehicle and business expenses coveredComprehensive benefits package including health coverage, retirement plan, and paid time offStructured onboarding and training programJob Type: Full-timeBenefitsCompany carHealth insurancePaid time offRetirement plan
