Role Description:
The Account Specialist at Nopetro Energy is a contract role based in Miami, FL with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. This role manages assigned customer accounts, ensuring accurate billing, timely responses to inquiries, and consistent follow-up on service requests. Daily responsibilities include reviewing account activity, analyzing usage and charges, preparing reports, and coordinating with internal teams such as finance, operations, and customer service. The Account Specialist communicates regularly with clients to resolve issues, clarify account details, and maintain strong relationships. The role also supports process improvements, maintains accurate records in company systems, and adheres to compliance and company policies.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret account data, identify discrepancies, and propose solutions.
Candidates should possess effective communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Candidates should possess foundational finance skills, such as basic understanding of billing, invoices, and account reconciliations.

Candidates should possess account management skills, including organizing account information, tracking activities, and maintaining long-term relationships.
Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar tools, experience with CRM or billing systems, and prior work in energy, utilities, or related industries.
An associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience, is preferred.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Miami, FL, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail is essential.
