This position is based in Birmingham, AL. Ideal candidates reside in or near the Birmingham, AL area.
What you'll do Participate in project, program, and portfolio meetings, and help keep leadership informed on progress
Help track milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items across multiple initiatives
Support agile ceremonies across our Agile Release Trains, including PI Planning, team standups, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and system demos
Help maintain schedules, dashboards, reports, and portfolio and delivery metrics
Support the build-out of team-health, flow, and predictability views that help teams and leaders see how work is progressing
Collaborate with teams to capture requirements, meeting notes, and project artifacts
Assist with executive presentations, status reports, and governance materials
Support continuous improvement by helping refine PMO and agile ways-of-working processes, templates, and tools
Work with business and technology stakeholders to keep project information accurate and current
Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by the Agile PMO team
What you’ll bring Currently pursuing a BS or BA in Business, Information Technology, Organizational Leadership, Engineering, or a related field
Interest in one or more of: project management, Agile delivery, portfolio management, business operations, or technology delivery
Basic understanding of project management and/or Agile and Scrum concepts
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams
Exposure to delivery and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Smartsheet, Power BI, or Microsoft Project is a plus
Awareness of SAFe or other scaled-agile approaches is a plus
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Clear written and verbal communication
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Curiosity, adaptability, and a continuous-improvement mindset
