About the role
- Assemble cable and wire harness products
- Read basic drawings and work instructions
- Use hand tools, crimpers, soldering irons, and measuring tools
- Perform inspections and continuity checks
- Work with production and engineering teams to meet quality and delivery goals
- High School Diploma or equivalent 35 years of cable/harness assembly experience preferred
- Strong soldering, crimping, and assembly skills
- Attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work under a microscope
- Team player with a strong work ethic
- Required Skills & Working Conditions
- Must be able to pass Manual Dexterity requirements (handling small parts effectively, demonstrate fine motor skills and dexterity to manipulate tweezers, small pliers and parts with speed and precision)
- Must possess sufficient hand and upper body strength and gross motor skills to route cable bundles of various sizes and weights
- Must be able to demonstrate Technical Literacy (ability to read and accurately interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, BOM's and blueprints or demonstrate the ability to learn this process)
- Must follow strong safety standards
- Must possess attention to detail
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- Fluent in reading, writing and speaking/understanding English
- Must be able to pass Visual Acuity requirements (color, depth perception and field of vision)
