Responsibilities: Safety is our business! As a Flagger/Traffic Controller, you will be responsible for various road closures and the safety of those passing by work zones. Close off roads using cones and barricades Perform two-way flagging using stop & slow signs to safely control traffic through work zones Load trucks and deliver/pick up barricades, signs, and traffic control equipment Complete reports and other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Valid driver's license held for 2+ years with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR)Must pass a 10-panel drug screen Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Available during business hours and able to work nights/weekends on an on-call schedule Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for 6-12 hours per day English proficiency required for safety coordination Able to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation to and from the work location Must be at least 18 years of age or older Compensation & Contract: - $18.00 - $20.00 per hourPPE Provided: Hard Hat (Type 1, Class E)Safety Glasses (ANSI Z87+)Lime Green Class 3 PPE Vest- Will be provided Class E PPE Pants -Will be provided Work Boots (candidate to provide)
