Recycling Coordinator

Position Summary:
Primary function is to be the internal endpoint for recycling processes before materials are recycled or disposed of externally, with most hours worked outside.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Sort and separate various construction and demolition materials for recycling
Handling of waste hoppers and dumpsters
Frequent forklift operation
Collect and bundle cardboard and plastic
Use of compactors and balers
Maintain wash water systems and water treatment
Active team member of Spill Response and Prevention Team
Groundskeeping
Hazardous material disposal and handling
Assist with material handling and receiving, production process, and maintenance as needed
Physical Demands:
Must be able to push, pull, bend, lift up to 50 lbs.
Works in an environment that includes exposure to extreme temperatures.
Work primarily involves standing, may involve a moderate amount of bending / stretching.
