IDNightwing is seeking an experienced Proposal Volume Lead/Writer to support cleared proposals in Dulles, VA.Our Proposal Volume Lead/Writers: Write clear, persuasive, and articulate proposal sectionsCreates compelling technical proposals that win over potential clientsTranslate technical and other ideas into understandable textRewrite and review proposal sections and related proposal documentsWork with internal teams to gather information and translate the information into compliant technical responsesConvey strategy in concise and compelling narrative textResearch, write, and organize information in a professional and credible mannerReview products, services, and/or business ideasAttend meetings with stakeholders to translate requirements into proposalsPrioritize responsibilities to meet deadlinesMake edits and revisions as per the requirementsMaintain consistency by following company policiesWork with the design team to create compelling visualsGive presentations in gates and other proposal milestonesEdit and proofread proposals to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistencyDevelop and maintain proposal templates and guidelinesRequirementsA Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English, or a related field5+ years of previous proposal writing experienceConceptualize, design, and plan to prepare reports and proposalsStrong research and analytical skillsExcellent writing and editing skills, with attention to detailAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projectsStrong knowledge and experience of Microsoft SuiteExcellent computer and organizational skillsExcellent written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skillsCurrent TS/SCI ClearanceSalary & BenefitsThe salary associated with this position ($122,000-$253,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
