Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Pay: $23-$25 Are you mechanically inclined and looking for a long-term opportunity with room to grow? We're seeking an Extrusion/Turf Technician to join a manufacturing team producing high-quality synthetic turf yarn. This is a hands-on position ideal for candidates with machine operation, mechanical, maintenance, or manufacturing experience.
Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion and texturing equipment. Perform machine startups, changeovers, and basic repairs. Troubleshoot equipment and assist with preventive maintenance. Ensure products meet quality standards and production goals. Complete production documentation accurately. Train and assist machine operators as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Work closely with supervisors and team members to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred.1-2 years of manufacturing, machine operation, maintenance, or mechanical experience. Strong mechanical aptitude; electrical knowledge is a plus. Ability to troubleshoot equipment and solve problems. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Able to lift up to 55 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Forklift experience is a plus.
