About the role
Integra Build is seeking a BIM Modeler/Scheduler, this is a junior level role with the ability to grow and apply your knowledge to the development of concept through construction documents, inclusive of structural steel, concrete, masonry, and wood-framed structures; working both independently and as part of a team.Primarily working on multifamily high rise, townhome mix-use buildings & assisting with developing project schedules. across South Florida. Ideal candidates are independent thinkers, sense of urgency, detail oriented, self- motivated/self-starter, communicate proactively, and enjoy collaborating within and beyond project teams.The role will be split between BIM and scheduling duties and responsibilities. He/she will be an integral part of the construction team and report directly to the EVP while working collaboratively with project and construction management team.Duties:BIM Modeling:Produce detailed drawings of structural steel and concrete components for buildings and structures using REVIT and AutoCAD.Create detailed plans for foundations, buildings, and structures based on preliminary concepts and sketchesModification of models through the course of design changesConduct clash detection of any structural and/or pipe overalaps before building starts providing resolution recommendations to the team and notifies Project Team and architects of any major flaws that may require re-design.Ensure proper communication between internal team and external vendors : architects, engineers and sub contractorsEnsure proper document control and maintenance of construction documents using Procore and Monday.comAdvise and provide technical assistance to team members relating to BIM.Work closely with engineers to assemble complete BIM project drawings in Revit.Ensure project model data is accurate, compliant with industry and company standards, and readily accessible to relevant parties.Scheduler:Assists with producing project schedule related reports for the project teams (schedule progress reports, Critical path, Overall Schedule, Near-Term, etc.).Assists with weekly schedule progress updates with construction teams.Analyze critical and near-critical paths and communicate any deviations from baseline milestones and paths to the team.Verify schedule integrity and evaluate logic, constructability, and float paths.Support the Request for Proposal process by developing or reviewing project schedules for team presentationProduce weekly and monthly Department reports summarizing the status of all current active projectsWhat your experience and qualifications look like:Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction management, engineering or similar role.1-2 years of experience with 3D and parametric design and a functional understanding of building information modeling (BIM). OR some combination of education and experience.Sufficient understanding of the design and construction process is an asset.Experience utilizing Revit for building design is highly desirable, prefer Certified.Proficient in AutoCAD.Multidiscipline coordinating experience a plus.Autodesk Revit software experience to produce construction drawings.Ability to understand and develop digital workflows, troubleshoot technical issues, and apply logical problem‑solving approaches commonly used in programming environments.Self-motivated to run tasks to ground.Must be able to exercise independent judgment using technical knowledge.Strong attention to detail with emphasis on organization / time management.Desire and ability to develop new skills (especially technical) to keep current with the evolving industry.Proficiency in English (Written/Oral) skills.Excellent communication skills with team members within office and external client contacts.Ability to work under deadline pressure.Physical Requirements: Work is primarily done in an office setting with AC and comfortable workplace environment50/50 will be outdoors walking construction sites in inclement weather, outdoor environment
