QA Technician ILocation: Lowell Shift: 3pm-11:30pm Starting pay: $18.77/hr Additional Pay: 2nd shift is $1.50/hr, 3rd/D/C Shift is $3/hrAs a QA Technician I, you'll help ensure every product meets Litehouse Foods' high standards for food safety and quality. You'll perform in-process inspections, analytical testing, documentation reviews, and product investigations while partnering closely with Production to verify products are manufactured safely, accurately, and consistently. What You'll Do:
Perform in-process quality inspections, documentation reviews, and product verification to ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, SQF, and food safety standards. Conduct analytical testing, including formulation titrations, specification verification, and ingredient and finished product product holds by creating, tracking, investigating, and releasing materials using ERP and quality management systems. Review production records, job tickets, and MVI data to validate product quality and support complaint sanitation verifications, environmental monitoring, and routine housekeeping audits to maintain food safety compliance. Partner with production teams to identify quality concerns, document findings, and support corrective actions and continuous improvement. What You'll BringHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field preferred.1–2 years of quality assurance, food manufacturing, laboratory, or related experience preferred. Working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SQF, and food safety principles. Experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn ERP, MVI, SharePoint, or other quality management systems. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to accurately document results and collaborate across departments.
