Embedded SW Engineer – LTE/5G NRSummary The Embedded SW Engineer will be responsible for implementing embedded software thatforms part of our product line. This role will support our next Generation 5G Chipset.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Design and document software systems.• Implement embedded real-time software modules and systems according to anagreed software architecture.• Implement module and system-level testing for all software developed.• Coordinate with test teams to ensure that all software is tested, and all open issuesare addressed.
Skills and Abilities: • Expert in embedded C/C++ programming• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools• Must be proactive, taking initiative and working in a collaborative teamenvironment.• Broad general knowledge of embedded devices and standards such as TCP, IP, Web Sockets and HTTP• Must have strong critical thinking skills.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Ability to use sound judgment when representing the Company.• Foster a professional attitude and demonstrate integrity and flexibility.• Entrepreneurial, rapid learner, inquisitive, and persistent• Detailed and disciplined.• Proactive Personality (“Can Do Attitude”)Work Experience• Must have at least 5+ years' experience in real-time embedded software development onplatforms using Real-time Operating Systems.• Must have 5+ years’ experience C/C++ embedded programming skills• 2+ years' experience in the wireless industry preferred/5G NR preferred.• Must have strong fundamental skills in DSP, Filter Design, FFT/IFFTEducation Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is required
