About the role
Supplier Relations AssistantThe Supplier Relations Assistant plays a key role in supporting the management of supplier programs and rebate tracking for CED's top 200 suppliers. This position requires a highly detail-oriented and organized individual who can manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The role involves gathering and tracking supplier rebates, maintaining up-to-date records of annual supplier programs, preparing quarterly purchasing reports, and ensuring supplier program files are accurate and well organized. The Supplier Relations Assistant communicates regularly with suppliers, both written and verbal, to support strong working relationships and will also field questions from internal sales organizations. Working closely with the VP of Supplier Relations, this individual provides ongoing updates on projects and initiatives while proactively identifying opportunities to take ownership of tasks and move projects forward.Reports to: VP Supplier RelationsMinimum Qualifications:Associates DegreeKnowledge of printers, scanners, and fax machinesProficiency with Microsoft Office and WindowsProficient mathematics skillsExcellent communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's DegreeOne year of administrative experience or internship experienceWorking Conditions: This job operates in a professional office environment. The supplier relations assistant routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The position is largely a sedentary role.
