Director of RecruitingGENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible forconsulting with managers to satisfy recruitment needs. This role is responsible for identifyingquality applicants, screening resumes, interviewing potential job candidates in person andevaluating the applicant’s potential to meet the job requirements of the desired position. CORE & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:TASKS:Conduct in-depth, competency-based interviews and design tailored evaluation frameworks to rigorously assess leadership capability, domain expertise, and strategic vision Deliver a white-glove, highly personalized candidate journey that reflects our brands standards for senior leadership hires Manage end-to-end hiring across multiple departments, including active sourcing, resume screening, structured interviewing, and offer negotiation Consult with hiring managers to determine staffing needs, define role requirements, and establish realistic hiring timelines based on market data Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, specialized networking channels, and passive sourcing strategies to build diverse talent pipelines for immediate and future needs Track and report on core talent metrics (time-to-fill, offer acceptance rates, sourcing channel efficacy) to continuously improve our hiring workflows Converts live interview observations into evidence-based, standardized feedback, eliminating gut-feeling bias and simplifying panel hiring decisions Uncovers true career drivers, work-ethic indicators, and cultural contributions to determine if a candidate will thrive long-term in the role Responsible for posting job opportunities while utilizing various resources (web-based and in-person) to identify and attract quality candidates Develops and maintains an applicant tracking system to ensure an adequate pipeline of candidates to fuel company growth Following up with candidates and hiring managers to receive updated information on the status of the interview processEnsure compliance with all employment laws, regulations, and company policies during the recruiting processEnsure Human Resources are notified to start the pre-employment and on-boarding process when necessary All other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:Must possess 5+ years of recruiting experience. Possession of at least a high school diploma orequivalent is required and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. In lieu of a degree, a comparablecombination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including militaryservice) may be considered. Most possess ability to cold-call recruit potential candidates. Mustpossess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be efficient in time managementand able to work both independently and within a team environment. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software. Adherence to health andsafety regulations (e.g. use of protective gear). Driving is a requirement for this position. Musthave the ability to travel both domestically and internationally, so the ability to travel by plane, operate a motor vehicle and maintain a driver’s license are required. Must have a vehicle in goodworking condition and ensure it meets all safety, insurance, and legal requirements. Overnightdomestic and international travel required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to communicate orally in a clear, concise and effective manner with the customers, account representatives, company representatives, management, staff, and the public in face-to-face, one-on-one and group settings. Ability to use a telephone for communication. Maintainingregular predictable and punctual attendance at assigned job locations is essential. Ability toestablish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Use office equipment such asa personal computer, copier and facsimile machines. Ability to communicate in writing in aclear, concise and effective manner. Sit, walk and/or stand for extended time periods. Hearingand vision required to be within normal ranges. Read at, above, and below shoulder height. Occasionally stoop, kneel or crouch. Sufficient manual dexterity required to operate equipment. Tolerate inclement weather, including heat and cold. Normal range of tolerance to household andother types of typical industrial/construction chemicals and solvents. This position requires up to 50% travel. Must have the ability to travel by plane, operate a motor vehicle, maintain a validstate motor vehicle driver license, and maintain an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
