Job Requirements:
Minimum three years of experience operating laser trackers; FARO ION experience required.
Experience with alignment, layout, and portable CMM tools, including FARO Arms.
Proficiency in PolyWorks and AutoCAD.Experience using and calibrating micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gauge blocks, and bore gauges.
Strong understanding of press mechanics, machining, and equipment fit and function.
Portable machining experience preferred.
Ability to work off shifts, remain on call, and travel as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform shaft-straightness, alignment, line-bore, and machinery-positioning surveys.
Monitor operating and milling equipment.
Inspect the mechanical fit and function of industrial presses and machinery.
Operate and calibrate laser trackers and precision measuring instruments.
Process survey data and prepare reports.
Inspect and maintain metrology equipment.
