This role reports to the Director of Marketing, based in the Miami office.Position SummaryThe Practice Development Coordinator will work closely with the Global Corporate Marketing Team to advance, coordinate, and contribute to a broad range of marketing and business development activities, while working collaboratively with, and as an integral part of, the firm's global marketing and business development team.Key ResponsibilitiesWorks with regional and practice group managers and the business development team to support practice-related proposal requests and RFPsDrafts proposals, utilizing practice descriptions, experience databases, and client listsCreates and maintains records of the firm's specific practice experience, utilizing the firm's experience databaseGathers and organizes information needed for legal directories and ranking submissions (e.g., Chambers USA, Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers)Organizes practice group conference calls, as well as initiates follow-up on specific action items arising from those discussionsEnsures the flow of information from attorneys to marketing team, including as it relates to attorney biographies, practice area description updates, experience tracking news and activities data, press releases, etc. Assists in the deployment of programs and events hosted/sponsored by the firm, such as teleconferences, webinars, seminars and other events, including the development and production of marketing materials and on-site logisticsEnters and maintains accurate information in relevant marketing databases, ensuring data integrity and proper storageSubmits and tracks requests to the marketing intelligence team for research, proposals, and other strategic projectsCollaborates with marketing and other business professionals throughout the firm across functions and teamsQualificationsSkills & CompetenciesA self-starter and team player, able to accept direction, yet work independentlyExcellent prioritization, problem-solving and time management skillsA positive attitude, strong attention to detail and possesses excellent multi-tasking and organizational skillsOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, including solid composition, research and editing skillsFlexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment that works well under pressureEducation & Prior ExperienceBachelor's degree requiredTwo to Four years of relevant experience in a marketing or business development roleTechnologyHigh level of proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Tech-Savvy problem solver who will have the ability to learn new programs or systems with easeUnderstanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and responsible use in a professional environment. Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, firm-approved AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms) to support daily workflow and/or improve work quality.
