Role Description:
This is a full-time remote Scrum Master role responsible for facilitating agile delivery across one or more cross-functional teams. The Scrum Master will organize and lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring that teams follow Agile and Scrum principles. Day-to-day tasks include refining and clarifying user stories with product owners and developers, removing impediments, tracking progress with appropriate metrics, and supporting continuous improvement of processes and team collaboration. The role also involves partnering closely with stakeholders to align priorities, improve communication, foster a culture of transparency, and help teams deliver high-quality software solutions for DVBusiness’s media and streaming initiatives.
Qualifications:
Agile facilitation skills, including Sprint Planning and backlog refinement, enabling teams to deliver iteratively and predictably.
Strong Analytical Skills to interpret metrics, identify bottlenecks, and support data-informed decision-making.
Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders in a clear, respectful, and inclusive manner.
Experience working with User Stories, acceptance criteria, and agile documentation to ensure shared understanding of requirements.
Familiarity with Software Development environments, tools, and lifecycle practices to effectively support technical teams.
Professional experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a software or digital media setting.
Knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and associated tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello).Relevant certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent is preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, demonstrating self-organization, reliability, and proactive communication.
