Summary: The Logistics Operator, Inventory Management is responsible for various Operations duties required to fulfill the scope outlined in the statement of work contracted with sponsors. Operates to maintain CellCarta Logistics Inc. (CCL) as a trusted provider of laboratory manuals, labels and kits for specialty assay.
Responsibilities:
  • Keep inventory for the section up to date in Starlims system or Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Define shelf levels and order levels
  • Perform stock transactions & Perform stock reconciliation
  • Follow up on non-conformities, deviations and changes
  • Create reports for item traceability
  • Perform Vendor assessments and new vendor qualifications
  • Organize new orders and deliveries
  • Assist in defining section specific inventory procedures (SOPs, forms, work instructions, policies)
  • Keep a high-level overview of conformity of inventory procedures between different CellCarta sites
  • Contribute to maintaining existing and implementation of new procedures in compliance with guidelines applicable
Work with OTD departments to ensure timely ordering and follow up on backorders and issues. Education High School Diploma Main Requirements No previous experience required. Previous experience in operations/production environment is an asset. Intermediate-level experience with excel Competency with Microsoft Office Communication: Actively listens, understands, and responds in an honest and professional, timely manner when interacting with individuals and groups. Problem identification: Identifying a problem and addressing it with support of appropriate stakeholders. Attention for Detail: Ensuring that one's own and others' work and information are complete and accurate, following up with others to ensure that tasks have been completed. Teamwork: The ability to work cooperatively within a team/work group and across the company to achieve group and company goals. Has a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
