Overview Summary: Lead all phases of project development, driving design innovation while managing schedules, budgets, and resources. Ensure compliance with codes, coordinate consultant deliverables, and maintain high-quality construction documentation. Conduct site reviews, address design and construction challenges, and collaborate with leadership to uphold technical excellence and project standards. This role combines hands-on professional growth with responsibility for maintaining accuracy, adherence to standards, and efficiency across the full project lifecycle.
Main Responsibilities Be involved in all phases of the development process
Manage schedules, budgets, and resources to successfully deliver projects on time and within scope
Support with preparation of construction documentation, ensuring compliance with building codes, zoning, and regulatory requirements
Demonstrate a strong understanding of building materials, systems, specifications, codes, details and construction techniques
Review and evaluate proposals and deliverables from external consultants and partners to ensure alignment with project goals and standards
Contribute to the design direction and innovations and further the development of projects that are consistent with the scope of the work and goals of the company. Integrate criteria and input from all disciplines into design solutions
Coordinate design coordination meetings with all internal/external partners
Assist in the coordination and review of consultant drawings to ensure consistency and design intent across disciplines
Communicate and maintain standards of quality for documentation for internal and external teams
Conduct site visits, review submittals, produce shop drawings, and respond to RFIs during construction administration
Collaborate with firm leadership to advance design excellence, technical standards, and quality assurance
Experience 5-10+ years in architectural design, project management, and construction oversight, with expertise in codes, permitting in multifamily residential projects. Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360, and experienced in leading in-house design teams.
