About the role

We are looking for someone who thinks like a General Manager, operator, and builder, not simply a department manager. This person will build the HVAC Division from the ground up. You may currently be: Plumbing General Manager HVAC General Manager Mechanical General Manager Director of Operations Plumbing/HVAC Operations Manager Mechanical Operations Manager Senior Plumbing Superintendent with substantial business responsibility Business Unit Manager Mechanical Contractor Senior Project/Operations Leader ready to take full P&L responsibility The title matters less than the experience. RequiredSignificant experience in plumbing, HVAC, mechanical contracting, or a related skilled-trades business. Demonstrated leadership and team-management experience. Experience hiring, developing, and retaining skilled-trades employees. Demonstrated financial and business-management experience. Experience with budgets, labor costs, project economics, and profitability. Experience managing field operations and multiple projects. Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications. Strong understanding of construction and mechanical systems. Ability to make independent operational and financial decisions. Strong communication and relationship-management skills. Highly PreferredJourneyman or Master-level plumbing background. HVAC experience. Commercial mechanical experience. Multifamily experience. Experience building a trade business or business unit. Full P&L responsibility. Experience developing apprentices or training programs. Experience managing multiple crews or project managers. Colorado licensing or ability to satisfy applicable licensing requirements.
