About the role
- Prepare onboarding materials and coordinate new-hire onboarding activities, including paperwork, orientations
- Assist in administration of performance management system (PerformYard)
- Maintain employee information in HRIS system (Paychex)
- Manage digital and physical employee personnel files according to policy and legal requirements
- Assist with the recruitment process; including posting job openings and scheduling interviews
- Completion of employment verification and unemployment claims
- Organizing historical employee compensation and performance data to be used in performance management and compensation evaluations
- Help lead and provide insight to company engagement efforts regarding surveys andfeedback
- Assist in planning company events and maintaining a positive and productive culture
- Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned
- Grow and learn in your career as a human resource professional
- 0-3 years of experience in HR or relevant role/education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work with sensitive/confidential information, in a time-sensitive, fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
