About the role

Mancan is working with a company in Berlin looking for 1st and 2nd shift mold maintenance technicians. This is a temp to hire opportunity. Pay is based on experience between $18.50-$26.88 per hour.3rd shift: Monday-Friday, midnight-8amMust be available for overtime on Saturdays as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform duties to remove and install molds, pots, and accessories
Complete reports and records as required
Perform mold change setup for production and sample run
Set up ejectors, knockouts, and slitters
Hoist molds and fasten to top and bottom plates. Realign platforms and work stations with presses
Report press breakdowns or malfunctions to maintenance and make minors repairs as needed
Clean molds and pots. Maintain cleaning tanks including routine test and adjustments or changing of caustic solution

Inspect molds for damage and replace damaged inserts, hinge pins, wasteless boards, etc.

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Basic math and measurement skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, stoop, and twist throughout the shift
Prior experience in a similar role is required
