About the role
- Monitor and respond to incoming vendor inventory opportunities
- Acknowledge and process new submissions within established response-time expectations
- Track ownership, progress, and status of active purchasing opportunities
- Maintain regular communication with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Manage spreadsheets, update records, and perform data cleanup as needed
- Ensure opportunities move efficiently through the review and purchasing process
- Escalate unusual requests, discrepancies, or questions when appropriate
- Help maintain organized workflows and prevent opportunities from falling through the cracks
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong written communication and follow-up skills
- Self-motivated and process-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Experience with Excel functions such as VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP is a plus
- Comfortable handling high volumes of information and maintaining accuracy
- Purchasing, inventory, logistics, operations, or related experience is helpful but not required
