Now Hiring: Network Engineer | Raleigh, NCW2 Only - No C2C or Third Party Vendors, Sponsorship is not eligible for this position.12-Month Contract | Enterprise Networking | Cisco / Palo Alto / AristaI'm working on a great opportunity for an experienced Network Engineer to join a large, established organization in the energy sector in Raleigh, NC!This position offers the opportunity to work in a critical infrastructure environment, supporting the design, implementation, security, and ongoing reliability of enterprise network and data center systems.
What You'll Be Doing: Design, configure, implement, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure. Maintain and support Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, circuits, and network management systems. Support data center operations, network security, and infrastructure improvements. Partner with internal IT teams, NOC personnel, vendors, and telecom providers to resolve technical issues. Participate in network projects, testing, implementations, and technical documentation. Identify opportunities to improve network performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For: ✔ 5+ years of hands-on network engineering and data center experience.✔ Strong Cisco routing and switching expertise (required).✔ Palo Alto firewall and/or Arista switching experience (preferred).✔ Solid understanding of network security, troubleshooting, and enterprise infrastructure.✔ A self-directed engineer who can take ownership of projects and collaborate across technical teams. An Associate's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required; a combination of relevant training and experience may be considered.
